ConoCrete
ConoCrete is available in 3 degrees of chemical resistance; a general purpose, chemical and food
grade, and epoxy novolac resins. It has many been used in food and beverage facilities,
pharmaceuticals, chemical plants, and wastewater facilities. ConoCrete is applied in two steps,
primer and ¼" topcoat (the topcoat is applied over wet primer the same day). A sealer/grout coat
typically associated with ¼" systems is not required because the ConoCrete mix is resin rich and is
sealed easily by trowel. Inherently the system provides a non-skid surface, with chemical resistance
throughout the entire thickness. The area can typically be returned to service within 24 hours after

Floor-Nu Finish
Is designed as a high solids, tough abrasion resistant, 10 mil industrial floor surface. It will withstand
high volume traffic, forklifts, chemicals and water. Bare concrete surfaces should be primed initially
with Floor-Nu Penetrating Sealer. The sealer is designed to seal and deeply penetrate concrete
locking in loose aggregate on top forming a hard sub-surface. It is a high solids coating which
possesses a water-thin viscosity, allowing it to penetrate into concrete as much as ¼" creating an
excellent bond between concrete and floor coating. In addition, the Floor-Nu can be applied over
tightly adhering, previously painted and or sealed surfaces by roughing up the surface and cleaning
with a solvent wipe. (Steelcote)
For non-skid properties Steelcote's Epo-Trac is recommended. The Epo-Trac is rounded polymer
aggregate beads, which provide a surface that is easily cleanable. When angular aggregate such as
sand is used, particles can be easily trapped in non-skid surfaces. In addition, the Epo-Trac is
incorporated in the resin of the Floor-Nu Finish (or any resinous topcoat) prior to application by
roller, providing an evenly dispersed non-skid application. (Steelcote)
Epo-Mastic DTO Primer
Formulated to bond to oil or grease contaminated concrete or steel. It can be used as a primer coat
for other floor systems over saturated oily surfaces when standard epoxy primers will fail.

BFB Flexible
Self-leveling 100% solids elastomer to give chemical resistance and flexibility to a seamless floor
coating. It is recommended for asphalt surfaces (unlike any other coating) and is also recommended
for wood, steel and concrete surfaces. (Steelcote)
Epo-Lux 600 Chemical Resistant Coating
Is a high solids aliphatic polyurethane that forms a very dense tight film. Its chemical makeup creates
a superior resistance to chemicals and the ability to resist staining. (Steelcote)

Is a high solids polyurethane coating that may be applied by brush or roller. (Steelcote)
Key Mortar SL
Is a 100% solids 1/16" seamless epoxy flooring system exhibiting high wear and durability for light to
medium traffic areas. Requiring primer, self leveling squegee coat, and seal coat. (Key Resin)
Key Mortar SL-T
Is an 1/8" non skid finish seamless epoxy flooring system for medium traffic areas. Requiring primer,
notched troweled squegee coat, broadcast, grout and seal coat. (Key Resin)

Is a 1/4" trowel applied seamless epoxy flooring system designed for high chemical, impact, and
thermal shock resistance. Requirining primer, troweled base coat, grout and seal coat. (Key Resin)

Is a 1/16",1/8", or 1/4" vinyl ester flooring system to handle the chemical environments above and

Key Resin #502 / #520 System
The #502 Primer Is a 100% solids, moisture insensitive epoxy primer for concrete, wood and
masonry surfaces. The Key Resin #520 topcoat is good 100% solids pigmented epoxy coating
designed to provide high gloss and chemical resistant protection. (Key Resin)
Key Resin # 450 Urethane Topcoat
Is a two component chemical resistant polyurethane coating to provide high gloss finish with
excellent abrasion resistance, chemical and stain resistance, and color retention. (Key Resin)
